STUDIO SESSIONS

Opera Steve’s omnipotent voice is laced on several hip hop tracks including his solo debut feature on “Off with His Head” by the legendary late Hispanic hip hop pioneer Big Pun’s Yeah Baby album.  He has also worked with Juelz Santana on “Monster Music”, Cam’ron on “Killa Cam”, Fat Joe on “300 Brolic” to name a few collaborations.

His extraordinary brand of music paved way for opportunities to perform at acclaimed venues like the Beacon Theater, B.B. King, S.O.B.’s and the Apollo Theater in New York City.  His Apollo performance with Cam’ron was televised in March 2005 as a Pay-Per-View special entitled “Harlem’s Homecoming”.  This performance opened up further features including opening up for Rakim with a spoken word tribute to legendary hip hop artist Big Pun in 2006 and about a year later, he opened up for Tamia in the Hot97 and VH1 Soul presents “Who’s Next Live Music Series” . He then landed a spot for promoting ESPN’s “2008 Atlantic Coast Conference Basketball Tournament” and a PBS Audio File Concert Series television special entitled “Hip Hop”.  His resume has also allowed for professional appearances including singing our National Anthem to commence the Bronx Ball consecutively since 2006.  Steven has also sung at the inaugural addresses for past Bronx borough President, Adolfo Carrión, Jr. and for the 2009 Bronx borough President, Ruben Diaz Jr.
